Zoning Administrator Brent B. Bristol handles all zoning and land disturbance permits, coordinated the Smart Growth planning and added the position of residential Building Inspector in December of 2008.

Brent grew up in Webster, WI and is used to living in a rural area.  He and his family love Door County and have been here many times.  Brent was an Environmental and Zoning Specialist, administering and enforcing zoning, Shoreland, floodplain, subdivision and private sewage system ordinances in Sauk County before joining the Ephraim staff in 2006. 

Zoning Administrator responsibilities include coordination with property owners, contractors, realtors and building inspectors on all building projects in Ephraim, enforcement of the zoning ordinances, and reporting to Historic Preservation and Plan Committee, Board of Appeals and the Village Board. As Building Inspector, Brent is responsible for all phases of construction inspection on residential structures.
